Montessori floor-bed

We are beginning a slow and gentle process of transitioning from a family bed to a separate "big girl" bed for Eleanor (starting with naptimes for a while).  This weekend I transformed her room into a big toddler room by moving out the never-used crib and moving the guest bed into her room sans the bed frame.

  1. So cute! If you don't mind, let me know exactly how you're doing this. Do you let her fall asleep in your arms, then put her on he bed? (Times like these I wish I was still nursing!) I know it's going to be a struggle transitioning Brennon, as much as I don't want it to be!

  2. Well, I nursed her to sleep in that bed for naps, but it was still too unfamiliar of a room for bedtime. I need to get black-out curtains, since it's still light here when she's ready for bed. She took naps there yesterday, but slept in our bed last night.

  3. Hello
I wanted to tell you about the Montessori floor bed that I discover, made in eco-friendly manner, both materials and finishes.
In addition, they plant a tree for every cot and bed they make.
